At Sarah King Aesthetics, we offer CryoPen treatment to gently and effectively remove unwanted cosmetic skin lesions. This advanced device uses a fine jet of nitrous oxide at very low temperatures (around –89°C) to target the area precisely, meaning the surrounding skin is left unharmed.
It’s a quick and comfortable treatment that can help with skin tags, certain moles, and other common blemishes you may wish to have removed.
If needed, we can also use our Map My Mole screening service to give you extra reassurance before treatment. During your appointment, we take clear images of your skin lesion and send them to a UK-based Consultant Dermatologist for expert review. You’ll receive a detailed report - often within 24 hours - so you can feel confident about what your lesion is and whether it’s suitable for treatment. If any concerns are raised, you are able to take this report to your GP for referral to a dermatologist.
You can have up to three lesions checked in one appointment, making the process simple and reassuring from start to finish.

CryoPen cryotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses a precise jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and remove unwanted benign skin lesions such as skin tags, age spots, cherry angiomas, milia, warts, and verrucas. The treatment targets only the affected area while minimising damage to surrounding skin.
CryoPen is commonly used to treat a wide range of benign skin imperfections including skin tags, sun spots, age spots, pigmentation, cherry angiomas, milia, warts, and verrucas. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess whether your lesion is suitable for treatment.
Most clients experience only mild discomfort during treatment, often described as a brief stinging, tingling, or cold sensation. The procedure is very quick and usually does not require anaesthetic.
Healing time depends on the size and type of lesion treated. The area may become red, form a small blister or scab, and then naturally heal over 1–6 weeks. Most people can return to normal activities immediately after treatment.
Many lesions can be successfully treated in a single session, although some larger or more stubborn lesions may require a follow-up treatment for the best results. Your practitioner will advise you during your consultation.
Yes, CryoPen is considered a safe and clinically proven treatment when performed by a trained professional. The device is designed to precisely target unwanted tissue while protecting the surrounding healthy skin.
