Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment that works by providing deep hydration to the skin and stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin. It is composed of a unique formulation of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that is responsible for maintaining hydration, elasticity and firmness. It is a highly moisturising treatment that can improve skin laxity and restore firmness helping us to look younger for longer.
When injected into the skin, Profhilo disperses quickly and evenly, acting as a hydrating agent that binds to water molecules and holds them within the skin cells. This helps to restore the skin's moisture levels and improve its texture, tone and overall radiance.
In addition to its hydrating effects, Profhilo also promotes the natural production of collagen and elastin in the skin. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that provide structure and support to the skin, but their production naturally declines as we age. By stimulating the production of these proteins, Profhilo helps to improve the skin's elasticity, firmness and overall quality.
Improvements can be seen after one treatment, however its recommended that initially, patients have two treatments spaced one month apart.
It is not until 3-4 weeks after the second treatment that patients start to see the full effect. The results of Profhilo treatment can last up to six months or more, depending on the individual's skin type, lifestyle and other factors. I advise to maintain the effect, maintenance treatments would ideally be every 3 months.

A topical anaesthetic is applied to reduce any discomfort from Profhilo treatment.
Is there any down time?
There may be some swelling and redness in the areas injected, but you should be able to return to your normal activities. I would advise that you don’t apply makeup to the areas that we have treated for 24 hrs.
